I decided to keep procrastinating (my textbook sits open on the other side of the room) and to read your stuff. While the "CJ gets attacked" storyline is a bit overdone (I use it myself) I am very impressed with where you're taking this and the delicacy with which you are handling it. Of all the characters, your grasp on Sam is perfect. Since I have absolutely no voice for Sam, I love reading writers who do.
