I feel your pain (although not for midterms), as I'm sure there's at least 100 pages of stuff I should be reading over my spring break. Eh.
While the "CJ gets attacked" storyline is a bit overdone (I use it myself)
Yeah, I've noticed, in my limited time in TWW fanficdom, that if a woman gets attacked, it's often CJ, although at least I haven't seen too many stories that are the exact same thing. I do tend to seek out CJ angst--I can't imagine why! ;)--so I've seen CJ stalked, etc.
I am very impressed with where you're taking this and the delicacy with which you are handling it.

Of all the characters, your grasp on Sam is perfect. Since I have absolutely no voice for Sam, I love reading writers who do.
This makes me wonder if I'm really more like Sam than I think, because I don't think about writing him much (not like I think about writing Toby!), but thank you!
