OK, so I watched last week's Graham Norton, and spent a good ten minutes laughing. I was also suffering from secondhand embarrassment, because as funny as it was to watch Peter Capaldi squirm around in embarrassment like a seal (oh shush, I like his smile and his accent and I have a pulse and a good imagination), I could spot at least one moment where he was clearly hoping for an invasion of Daleks or something:
